"Pineta Antica" - the slope of the hill shoulder gave the place the name; the name of the house has remained, even though the old pine trees are no longer there. But young trees are growing.
Artallo is a rural district of Porto Maurizio, on a prominent hill, with scattered houses in the extensive olive yards.
The house occupies a dominant position 300 meters above the sea, two kilometers from Porto Maurizio, driving distance 4 km, offering a wide view.
It was built in 2005, and since then, the vegetation has been growing it in, a Swiss hand taking orderly care of things in the background.
The lower level of the house can be rented for holiday purposes.
The apartment sleeps 6, it comprises three double bedrooms (two bathrooms), a spacious living area with kitchenette, all with direct access to the pool terrace.
Below, a hillside terrace with lawn serves as an appropriate playground - from anywhere, spectacular panoramas of the coast and sea.
On the first floor, the apartment of the owners - friendly polyglot Europeans who dwell here only occasionally.
Washing machine and dishwasher, satellite TV, central heating.
Pets not allowed.
Ample parking on premises.
