In the cliffs near the French border, between Ventimiglia and Mentone, hide many things.
At one point in this extremely difficult terrain, Napoleon, on one of his campaigns in northern Italy, lost a gun, which later was found - hence the name of the location, "u canun".
The property consists of terraces, which were formerly cultivated with fruits and vegetables, and allows panoramic sea views from the Cape of Villa Hanbury to Bordighera.
Some generations ago, a family from Ventimiglia has erected a nice mansion for the summer there.
It consist in a salon (a lounge), followed by a small kitchen (two gas flames), both with direct access to the outside, double bedroom, single bedroom, bathroom. (Double sofa bed in the lounge.)

Down to the shore/beach - Latte or in the direction of the Hanbury Gardens - it is a 10 minute walk, road to Ventimiglia 8 km. Shopping (border supermarket) in the vicinity.
Transit traffic passes by almost entirely on the highway far above, the Via Aurelia near the coast divides into branches. The upper branch, on which the house is situated, carries little traffic and is well shielded; you may notice the lower branch and the railway still further down - there is not much traffic on either.
Enough space in the parking bays along the road above.
Not suitable for children under the age of 4-5 years.
Washing machine, a fireplace for the transitional period (wood available), pets not accepted.
