These are two buildings located on a spacious hill-slope, at the outskirts of a newly-built and very small residential zone (circa eight houses), San Paolo – in the village district of Dolcedo and a short way above the main village. This village, namely Dolcedo Piazza, is about one kilometre away and takes 15 minutes to reach by foot, using old mule paths.
The estate is framed on three sides by terraced olive groves, not all of them yet back in use, above it in some distance and to the “right” are further houses.
The houses (2002 – 2004) are painted in yellows and reds, typically Ligurian colours. Left of the private driveway stands the Casa Laterza, to the right a house with two holiday apartments (Federica and Remo).
The property allows a view onto the sea, which however is partly obstructed by the vegetation. Up above, from Remo’s balcony, one looks to the end of the valley and onto the ocean.
Outside seating area, pergola, barbecue alongside rosemary and sage underneath a fig tree for communal use. The apartments are well-equipped and partly furnished with antique wooden furniture.
The stay here is a quiet and restful one – not least because of the friendly care of the owner family who resides three houses away.
“Cosy, comfortable, super-quiet and beautifully located”, guests have written; and not few are known to have made repeated returns to this location.
Casa Laterza, for 5 persons, circa 85 m2 and 25 m2 of terrace,
comprises two separate living levels. Ground floor with entrance through private courtyard, terrace, a large living room with kitchenette, bathroom, one double bedroom. On the upper floor: two bedrooms, one of them with a big terrace, a second bathroom. ‘Behind the house’, a separate garden shielded from outside view. - Floor plan -
Appartamento Federica, for 4 persons, circa 70 m2,
lies on the ground level and is equipped with a terrace facing south. It has two adjoining bedrooms with double beds and a living area with integrated kitchen, both with exits to the terrace (with sun shelter), bathroom. A separate adjacent lawn serves for private sunbathing.

Appartamento Remo, for 6 persons, circa 105 m2,
extends over the upper floor and the garret. 4 bedrooms and 2 baths; one double- and one single bedroom on each floor as well as a bathroom, living area with integrated kitchen on the lower floor, balcony with a view onto the sea.
The pergola in the garden is assigned to the apartment, the olive terraces offer space for a siesta in fresh air.

These two apartments are well-separated from each other, but can also be used by a group wishing to rent the whole house.
All units are equipped with: satellite TV, washing machine and ironing facilities, gas central-heating, baby bed on request. No pets.
